First Dental Examination

It is recommended that the first dentist examination be performed after the first deciduous tooth is removed (usually between 6 months and 1 year old).

In the examination performed with the eruption of the first tooth;

  • Prevention of bacteria transmission from mother to baby
  • Limitations of bottle and pacifier use
  • Harmful habits such as sucking lips and fingers
  • Explaining the child’s oral and dental development, the necessity of visiting a dentist at what intervals
  • Mothers and fathers are informed about nutrition and preventive practices that can be done to prevent tooth decay.
